A Woman, a Culture, a Wine

A WOMAN
Champagne Veuve Olivier et Fils was born in 1922, thanks to the great grandfather Edmond, in Trélou-sur-Marne. His daughter Liliane developed his business with her son Pierre and created the brand «Champagne Veuve Olivier et Fils » in 1955.
Nowadays, the family vineyard is more than 18 hectares. Sandrine Charpentier-Olivier manages her company with the cooperation of her parents Michelle and Pierre, who share with her their knowledge and experience of wine-growers.
Sandrine has grown up in this environment and has been able to build a team and techniques combining tradition and modernity to offer you the best of her heritage: the wine-grower status and culture, with home-made cuvees sourced from the family vineyard, to produce elegant champagnes which are sold all over the world.

A CULTURE
The 21 plots of the vineyard are located in Trélou-sur-Marne. We grow a majority of Meunier but also Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It is an enlightened culture. We vinify each plot. It is our priority to respect the typicity of our terroir. Taking care of the vineyard and vinification is done in full respect of the Champagne chart. Our pressing is slow and progressive (we use Coquard wine press)
As a major step, we blend reserve wines with the wines of the year issued from various plots and various cepages. This is the typicity of Champagne Veuve Olivier.
